A message from Derek & Ashley:

“During our son’s recovery from heart surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital, he discovered a guitar in the playroom on the cardiac floor. He was instantly drawn to it and, in that moment, found his passion for creating music.

 

Since then, music has become part of his everyday life. Our home is now filled with guitars, ukuleles, harps and instruments of every kind.

 

For many children facing complex medical conditions, sports and strenuous activities may not be possible. We wanted to help create another outlet. A way to express themselves. A way to find joy, confidence, creativity, and escape through music.”

100% of proceeds will fund musical instruments for children in pediatric hospitals. These instruments will be given directly to the children themselves, including those unable to leave their hospital rooms, so they can enjoy instruments while they recover and continue their musical journey long after returning home. 

 

Our initial pilot is with Boston Children's Hospital, but we hope to grow this program to cover all pediatric hospitals.
