Ethical Sourcing: From MINE to yours

At Phillips House, every stone begins with a promise: to respect the earth it comes from, to honor the hands that shape it and to create jewelry that carries meaning beyond its beauty. Each gem is chosen with care, traceable to its origin and connected to the people and communities who make its story possible

from mine to yours

Natural Diamonds

Our natural diamonds are sourced exclusively from De Beers Sightholders, selected for their integrity, provenance and craftsmanship. Each stone is fully traceable from mine to workshop under the Best Practice Principles established by the De Beers Group to safeguard human rights, labor standards, supply-chain transparency and environmental stewardship.
At Phillips House we view every diamond as a symbol of responsibility as much as beauty — created to sparkle for generations with respect for both people and planet.

Colored Gemstones

Every colored stone tells a story of heritage and humanity, with community at its center. Our gemstones are chosen not only for their color and character but also for the values behind them. The gemstones that end up in a piece of Phillips House jewelry do far more than sparkle. They provide essential resources—like roads, clean water, jobs, healthcare, and education—to communities that otherwise might not have access. They add significant value to societies and create tangible upward mobility. They come from places and people who are dedicated to enriching their communities and elevating their neighbors.

We believe it's important to not only sparkle, but to illuminate. All along the value chain, our gemstones create light, transparency and positive energy. Our goal is to ensure the world becomes a better, brighter place because of jewelry, not in spite of it. Through Moyo Gems in Tanzania, we collaborate with a women-led mining initiative that empowers independent artisanal miners through fair pricing, training, and safe working conditions. Their hand-selected rhodolite garnets represent both artistry and opportunity. We also partner with trusted suppliers around the world who share our standards of transparency and care, including the Cruzeiro Mine in Brazil, known for responsibly mined tourmalines, to emeralds from Colombia’s Muzo region, celebrated for their vivid green hue and mined under programs that protect the environment, sustain local craftsmanship, and support education and healthcare. We also source turquoise from ethical American operations in Nevada that produce turquoise from Nevada, where ethical extraction and land preservation guide every stage of production.

Sustainability

Sustainability is not an initiative but a philosophy that guides every decision we make. We reuse, recycle, and upcycle precious metals to give new life to existing materials while maintaining the integrity of our craftsmanship. Each creation reflects our belief that beauty should exist in balance with responsibility, and that the future of fine jewelry depends on how we care for the world that inspires it.
To wear Phillips House is to carry beauty with intention, crafted with respect for people, planet, and purpose.
