From Mother to Daughter: A Piece of Her
After a life beautifully lived, our client’s mother passed away, leaving her daughter with a treasured heirloom, a four-carat princess cut diamond. She knew she wanted to transform it into a necklace that honored her mother’s memory while fitting naturally into her everyday life.
Because this diamond carried such deep meaning, our goal was to create something she could wear often and still feel truly special. We explored several design options before finding the one that felt right, a custom swivel top setting that softens the sharp corners of the princess cut and adds a subtle sense of movement.
To make it even more versatile, we designed the piece to be worn two ways, on a delicate gold chain for everyday wear or on a structured gold choker for a bolder look.
The finished necklace gives new life to a cherished stone, turning a beautiful memory into something she can keep close and wear every day.
